UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program Graduation Determination: 77 Graduates Officially Declared to Have Passed on Friday, August 21, 2026

MAKASSAR – The In­dus­trial Engi­nee­ring Study Pro­gram at the Fa­culty of In­dus­trial Tech­no­logy, Uni­ver­si­tas Muslim In­do­ne­sia (UMI), held a gra­dua­tion con­fir­ma­tion ce­re­mony (*yu­di­sium*) on Friday, August 21, 2026. A total of 77 par­ti­ci­pants at­ten­ded the event, which marked their of­fi­cial gra­dua­tion prior to the formal com­men­ce­ment ce­re­mony, ser­ving as a tes­ta­ment to their suc­cess and per­se­ve­rance in com­ple­ting their un­der­gra­duate stu­dies. The event was con­duc­ted in a solemn yet warm at­mosp­here, at­ten­ded by fa­culty lea­ders­hip, lec­tu­rers, and aca­de­mic staff. A high­light of the oc­ca­sion was the pre­sen­ta­tion of flower bou­quets and awards to outs­tan­ding gra­dua­tes; the pride and gra­ti­tude felt by both the gra­dua­tes and the men­tors who had guided them throug­hout their aca­de­mic jour­ney were clearly evi­dent. In their re­marks, a re­pre­sen­ta­tive of the UMI Fa­culty of In­dus­trial Tech­no­logy lea­ders­hip ex­pres­sed deep ap­pre­cia­tion to the 77 gra­dua­tes for the hard work, per­se­ve­rance, and de­di­ca­tion they had de­mons­tra­ted. "Today is a his­to­ric day for all 77 of you. You have proven that with spirit and per­se­ve­rance, any chal­le­nge can be over­come. Con­ti­nue to be gra­dua­tes who excel not only in know­ledge but also pos­sess noble cha­rac­ter, be­ne­fit so­ciety, and uphold the good name of your alma mater, UMI, whe­re­ver you go," the re­pre­sen­ta­tive said. The UMI In­dus­trial Engi­nee­ring Study Pro­gram re­mains com­mit­ted to pro­du­cing com­pe­tent gra­dua­tes who are ready to com­pete in the work­force and pos­sess the robust analy­ti­cal and pro­blem-sol­ving skills re­qui­red by today's in­dustry. This ce­re­mony marks the first step for the 77 gra­dua­tes as they move toward the next stage of their lives—whet­her pur­suing a career in in­dustry, be­co­ming en­tre­pre­neurs, or con­ti­nuing their edu­ca­tion at a higher level. The gra­dua­tes ex­pres­sed their pro­found gra­ti­tude to all lec­tu­rers and aca­de­mic staff for the moral and ma­te­rial sup­port pro­vi­ded, which ena­bled them to suc­cess­fully com­plete their stu­dies. The event conc­lu­ded with a group photo ses­sion to com­me­mo­rate this his­to­ric oc­ca­sion.
