MAKASSAR, August 18, 2026 — The Internal Quality Audit (AMI) team from Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) conducted a visit and audit today at the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, UMI Makassar.
The activity aimed to verify compliance with quality standards regarding education, research, and community service, as well as to ensure the quality assurance system operates in accordance with university-established standards and applicable regulations.
The audit team conducted document reviews, interviewed study program leadership and academic staff, and verified facilities and infrastructure supporting academic activities. During the process, the team examined curriculum implementation, lecturer performance, learning assessment systems, and efforts to produce competent, competitive graduates.
The Head of the Audit Team stated that this audit was not merely an assessment but a collaborative effort to drive continuous improvement within the Industrial Engineering Study Program.
"We observed excellent enthusiasm and preparedness from the Industrial Engineering Study Program. We hope today's findings serve as valuable input for enhancing educational services and graduate quality in the future," the Head said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program welcomed the audit team's visit and committed to following up on all observations to meet higher quality standards.
"We are very open to suggestions and feedback. We will use the audit results as a reference to continuously improve performance and academic services within the Industrial Engineering Study Program," the Head stated.
The audit proceeded smoothly and concluded with the presentation of preliminary findings and recommendations for improvement, which will be addressed within a specified timeframe.
With the completion of this quality audit, it is hoped that the UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program will further strengthen the quality of its higher education delivery and produce graduates who are not only academically proficient but also ready to compete in the workforce and industry.
