Gathering for Prospective FTI UMI Graduates Held at Myko Hotel Makassar, Featuring 77 Prospective Industrial Engineering Graduates
MAKASSAR, August 26, 2026 — An atmosphere of joy and pride filled the event hall at Hotel Myko Makassar on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Muslim Indonesia (FTI UMI) hosted a gathering for undergraduate candidates for graduation, specifically those from the Industrial Engineering Study Program.

The event was attended by the faculty leadership and heads of study programs within FTI UMI, alongside 77 Industrial Engineering graduates-to-be. Representatives from the Chemical Engineering and Mining Engineering study programs were also present, strengthening the sense of unity within the extended faculty family.

In their remarks, faculty leaders expressed pride and appreciation for the students' perseverance and achievements in completing their undergraduate studies. "Today is a testament to your patience and hard work. Continue to uphold the good name of your alma mater, become professionals of integrity, and keep contributing to the nation's progress," they advised.

The graduates-to-be, looking smart and wearing their medals of honor, posed for photos with faculty leaders and lecturers to commemorate this historic moment. The event was warm and moving, featuring messages of hope from study program heads that the knowledge gained would prove beneficial and be put to good use in the future.

The event concluded with a joint prayer and a social gathering, further strengthening the bonds between the faculty and the graduating students. May these 77 Industrial Engineering graduates find continued success, uphold the reputation of Universitas Muslim Indonesia, and make tangible contributions to the advancement of society and the nation.
