MAKASSAR – The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI), through its quality assurance body, conducted an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) across the university. The Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI-UMI) actively participated to ensure the success of this initiative. The field audit for the FTI-UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program aimed to evaluate the implementation of quality assurance, verify compliance with established standards, and identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance the quality of education and services.
The event took place in the FTI main meeting room and was attended by the university-level audit team, faculty leadership, heads of study programs, as well as academic and administrative staff. The meeting proceeded in an open and constructive manner, covering topics ranging from document completeness and the implementation of academic standards to specific findings that serve as the basis for immediate improvements.
This audit represents a strategic move by UMI to maintain comprehensive quality standards and ensure that every work unit adheres to applicable regulations. Faculty leadership welcomed the initiative and committed to following up on all auditor recommendations to ensure that the education provided becomes increasingly high-quality, accountable, and competitive.
It is hoped that the audit results will serve as a foundation for continuous improvement, enabling the FTI-UMI Faculty of Industrial Technology to progress and produce high-quality graduates who are well-prepared for the demands of the workforce and industrial advancements.
