MAKASSAR– The Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Industrial Engineering Student Association (HMTI) successfully held a prestigious national level event, Industrial National Competition (INCO) 2025. This competition is a forum for students from various universities to share brilliant ideas in the field of industrial product design.
Focus on Sustainability and Prosperity
This year, INCO is carrying a theme that is very relevant to today's global challenges: "Sustainable Product Design Innovation for Human Well-Being". Through this theme, participants are challenged to create product design innovations that are not only industrially efficient, but also environmentally friendly and able to improve the quality of human life. This series of activities, which peaked in December 2025, has given birth to various innovative works that show the extraordinary dedication of prospective future engineers.
Full Support and Spirit of Collaboration
The success of this event cannot be separated from the full support of the UMI Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) bureaucracy and the UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program. Apart from that, synergy with strategic partners such as Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is also the key to the smooth running of this national scale competition. "Let's continue to create new innovations together, hopefully this spirit of collaboration and innovation will continue to burn for the progress of the nation," said the committee in its official statement.
