Realizing Sustainable Innovation, HMTI UMI Successfully Holds Industrial National Competition (INCO) 2025

MAKASSAR– The In­do­ne­sian Muslim Uni­ver­sity (UMI) In­dus­trial Engi­nee­ring Stu­dent As­so­cia­tion (HMTI) suc­cess­fully held a pres­ti­gious na­tio­nal level event, In­dus­trial Na­tio­nal Com­pe­ti­tion (INCO) 2025. This com­pe­ti­tion is a forum for stu­dents from va­rious uni­ver­si­ties to share bril­liant ideas in the field of in­dus­trial pro­duct design.

Focus on Sus­tai­na­bi­lity and Pros­pe­rity
This year, INCO is carr­ying a theme that is very re­le­vant to today's global chal­le­nges: "Sus­tai­na­ble Pro­duct Design In­no­va­tion for Human Well-Being". Through this theme, par­ti­ci­pants are chal­le­nged to create pro­duct design in­no­va­tions that are not only in­dus­trially ef­fi­cient, but also en­vi­ron­men­tally friendly and able to im­prove the qua­lity of human life. This series of ac­ti­vi­ties, which peaked in De­cem­ber 2025, has given birth to va­rious in­no­va­tive works that show the ex­traor­di­nary de­di­ca­tion of pros­pec­tive future engi­neers.

Full Sup­port and Spirit of Col­la­bo­ra­tion
The suc­cess of this event cannot be se­pa­ra­ted from the full sup­port of the UMI Fa­culty of In­dus­trial Tech­no­logy (FTI) bu­reauc­racy and the UMI In­dus­trial Engi­nee­ring Study Pro­gram. Apart from that, synergy with stra­te­gic part­ners such as Bank Sya­riah In­do­ne­sia (BSI) is also the key to the smooth run­ning of this na­tio­nal scale com­pe­ti­tion. "Let's con­ti­nue to create new in­no­va­tions to­get­her, ho­pe­fully this spirit of col­la­bo­ra­tion and in­no­va­tion will con­ti­nue to burn for the pro­gress of the nation," said the com­mit­tee in its of­fi­cial sta­te­ment.
