Internal Quality Audit (IQA) of Universitas Muslim Indonesia at the Chemical Engineering Study Program, FTI-UMI
Makassar — Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) once again conducted an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) as part of its commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education. The audit was carried out at the Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) UMI, as one of the stages in ensuring that academic and non-academic quality standards are implemented in accordance with established regulations.

The IQA served as an evaluation of various aspects of the study program, including the learning process, curriculum, human resources, facilities and infrastructure management, research, community service, as well as academic administration and documentation. The audit process involved document examination, data verification, and discussions between the auditors and the management of the Chemical Engineering Study Program.

Through this activity, the Chemical Engineering Study Program had the opportunity to identify achievements, development opportunities, and areas that still require improvement. The audit results are expected to serve as a basis for developing targeted and sustainable follow-up actions.

The implementation of the IQA is also an important part of building a quality culture within UMI's academic environment. Periodic evaluations not only aim to ensure compliance with established standards but also encourage every work unit to continuously improve its quality.

The Chemical Engineering Study Program of FTI UMI welcomes the Internal Quality Audit as an opportunity to strengthen program governance, improve the quality of academic services, and ensure that education, research, and community service activities are carried out more effectively.

Through consistent implementation of the IQA, Universitas Muslim Indonesia is expected to maintain and continuously improve its higher education quality standards while producing competent and professional graduates who can contribute meaningfully to society and industrial development.
