BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The FTI-UMI Industrial Engineering Study Program was founded on June 19 1987 in response to the industry's need for professional staff who are able to design, manage and optimize integrated systems. This study program initially focused on manufacturing engineering, but continues to develop following the dynamics of the times, including adaptation to the industrial revolution 4.0, green economy, and digital transformation. Its long journey has produced graduates who contribute to various sectors, both nationally and internationally. Industrial Engineering graduates have very broad career prospects, covering the manufacturing sector (such as designing production systems and supply chains), the service and consulting sector (business analysis and operational optimization), the technology industry (project management and business intelligence), to the public sector (industrial policy planning). The need for graduates who are able to combine engineering, management and data analysis skills makes this profession always relevant in the job market.
The advantage of this study program lies in its curriculum which is designed to answer the latest industrial challenges, combining theoretical learning with direct practice. Students are provided with modern laboratory facilities, such as ergonomics labs, system simulations and smart factories, internship opportunities at well-known companies and have collaborated with various industries to ensure graduates are ready to compete globally. By mastering tools such as data analytics, IoT, and K3 professional certification, Industrial Engineering graduates are ready to become pioneers in creating efficient and innovative solutions for the industrial world. The Industrial Engineering Study Program is not only committed to producing graduates who are competent, but also who are ethical and have a global perspective, ready to face future challenges with creativity and strong leadership.
